My Design Philosophy
Healing Begins Online
For many, your website is their first step toward healing. It should inspire the same feeling of safety, trust, and calm they would experience walking through your door. Not just with soothing colors, but with an experience that feels thoughtful, grounded, and effortlessly navigable.
Color & Font Psychology
The colors and fonts on your website aren't just aesthetic choicesβthey shape how a visitor feels. For example I discourage aggressive colors like red. They may be attention-grabbing, but they can also evoke urgency, stress, or even alarmβthe exact opposite of what a medical professional wants to convey. Likewise, jarring or overly complex fonts can feel chaotic.
Clarity Over Chaos
I avoid cluttered pages and overwhelming walls of text. They create anxiety, not safety. When a potential patient lands on something calm and clear, they stay.
Built From Scratch
A hand-crafted website gently nudges visitors toward the contact button. It also provides for a faster, higher ranking, and secure websiteβwhen they feel safe, they feel ready to reach out.
"I build every site from scratch. Beginning with the very first line of code I optimize for HIPAA-conscious security, speed, AI SEO, traditional SEO, clarity, and conversions. My goal is to create a confident digital space that is both calming and encouraging to your visitors and also works as hard as you do."

My services, your unfair advantage.
You're a therapist or psychiatrist. You know your online presence mattersβbut you don't have time for slow websites or SEO jargon. And maybe you've been burned by designers who overpromised or put your practice at risk.
Let's discuss business if you:
- β Want to eliminate HIPAA worries
- β Have an ROI mindset
- β Care about your search ranking
- β Are obsessed with patient experience
- β Need something more secure than a page builder website
- β Need someone who won't judge marketing required for the treatment of POCD, self harm, trauma, etc.
Technical TLDR
Why your website's speed determines if a patient booksβor bounces.
The problem: Many therapy websites are built on bloated page builders like Wix, Squarespace, or WordPress. They might look fine on the surface, but they are slow and carry a high risk of patient data leaks β vulnerabilities that require constant patching. Web designers and developers use Google's PageSpeed Insights tool to test site speed and performance, since Google uses these scores to help determine search rankings.
The ripple effect of a slow site:
- Google doesn't like slow sites. You rank lower. Patients find your competition first.
- Patients leave. Studies show that if a website takes longer than 3 seconds to load on mobile, over 50% of visitors leave β often for good.
- It kills trust. In healthcare, speed=competence. A sluggish site feels unprofessional and unsafe.
- New visitors suffer the most. They don't have your 'save file'. Meaning the website isn't cached. They experience the long load β often on spotty mobile connections.
The result: Exceptional Google PageSpeed Insights scores. You rank higher. Your patients trust you more. They book before your competition even loads.

Your Website Should
Work for Everyone.
Your patients come to you with their deepest struggles. They trust you. Your website should welcome them all β regardless of ability.
That's why I build with WCAG 2.2 standards in mind β not because it's a box to check, but because every person deserves to find the help they need.
Built with inclusivity in mind
Why it matters: Accessible sites rank higher on Google, convert better, and help protect you from legal liability. But more than that β it's the right thing to do.
I don't build patient portals. I build marketing websites that guide users to your existing HIPAA-compliant tools like SimplePractice or TherapyNotes.
Zero Contact Forms
No forms=no PHI sitting in a database.
Why contact forms belong in 2006, not 2026.
Direct, Secure Connections
Phone calls, secure HIPAA-compliant emails, or your EHR's booking portal β no middlemen, no storage, no leaks.
Privacy-First Analytics
Fathom β no IP addresses, no cookies, no personal data. Just the numbers you need.
Bottom line: Your site is built on pure static code with no database. No forms, no PHI, no liability. Patient records never touch your website β or me. We both stay isolated from medical liability.
No hidden fees. No surprises. Just a premium website that works for your practice.
